JVC GY-HC500UN Connected Cam 4K NDI-Enabled
The JVC GY-HC500UN Connected Cam 4K NDI-Enabled is an all-in-one, portable, and fully-integrated production camera that brings broadcast-level features to any live streaming production. It combines 4K and HD recording, IP streaming and graphics overlays into a single device without the need for an external laptop or switcher.
Advanced Design
JVC’s state-of-the-art design features a 1/3″ 4K CMOS image sensor designed to capture stunning 4K video. It uses a 20x Fujinon lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 29.5mm-592mm. The lens offers three rings for manual control of focus, zoom, and iris settings. The camera is also capable of capturing up to 240fps in HD, making it ideal for slow-motion applications.
Back Up Production Options
A unique feature of the GY-HC500UN is its ability to stream both IP and SDI simultaneously, allowing for a back up HD/SD stream as well as dual 4K streams. It supports NDI|HX, a low-latency IP workflow, as well as encoding in both H.264 and H.265 formats. In addition, the GY-HC500UN supports secure FTP for on-site recording or remote backup.
Integrated Connectivity Features
The GY-HC500UN’s integrated features make it easy to connect and collaborate with a wide range of IP-enabled devices. It supports Dante audio, allowing for up to 64 channels of audio with low latency. It has built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet ports for streaming, and an optional CBK-WA03 Wi-Fi adaptor. The GY-HC500UN also offers dual HD-SDI outputs, allowing for simultaneous live switching.
