High-Resolution Lenses
The Olympus TG6 Tough Underwater Camera (Red) is equipped with a 4x optical zoom Olympus Zoom Lens with a 25-100mm equivalent focal length and BrightCapture Technology for bright and clear images in underwater conditions. The lens is also compatible with a variety of optional lenses, including close-up and fisheye lenses.
Onboard Electronic Viewfinder
The camera incorporates an electronic viewfinder to help you frame and capture clear shots in any conditions. It features BrightMonitor technology and a 1.04M-dot OLED display to provide you with a detailed view. The viewfinder’s eye-level design reduces strain on your neck when shooting in the bright sun. The on-screen histogram helps you review image detail and adjust your exposure settings.
1080p Video Recording
The camera also records Full HD 1920 x 1080p video up to a maximum frame rate of 30 fps. You can monitor audio levels with the built-in microphone, and an optional external microphone can be connected through the camera’s microphone terminal for better sound quality. Manual exposure control is possible for both video and photo shooting.
Sharing and Connectivity
Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect to your smartphone or tablet so that you can quickly share your footage. Additionally, the camera connects to your compatible device using the Olympus Image Track app, which uses GPS and compass data to track photos and videos. You can also control the camera remotely when connected to a compatible device.
