Audio-Technica Announces AT2020USB-XP Mic with Upgraded Features
Audio-Technica is introducing a new mic with upgraded features. Audio-Technica has unveiled the AT2020USB-XP cardioid condenser microphone which includes upgraded features such as the introduction of a new output cable design, higher-grade components, and a premium bundle package. This new mic is designed to provide a plug-and-play recording solution for USB audio interfaces and digital mixers.
The AT2020USB-XP features an improved cable design with a USB-C connection. This cable offers faster data transfer and a higher signal-to-noise ratio than the standard USB-A connection used in the original AT2020USB. Additionally, the AT2020USB-XP has also been outfitted with higher-grade components, including a new neodymium element and an upgraded internal circuit. These upgrades provide improved sensitivity and transient response, resulting in a more detailed audio capture.
