Atomos Shows Shogun and Shogun Ultra 7″ Monitor-Recorders with AtomOS 11 at IBC

Atomos unveils new hardware and software upgrades at the 2019 IBC show. Atomos recently showcased their Shogun and Shogun Ultra 7″ Monitor-Recorders with the new AtomOS 11 at this year’s IBC show in Amsterdam. The new operating system brings an array of capabilities that will improve the performance of Atomos’ monitor-recorders.

AtomOS 11 includes powerful new features. AtomOS 11 provides seamless integration between devices and features 8K 30p output over QuadLink, variable frame rate support, support for 16 audio channels, the ability to connect 4K HDMI cameras for video switching and more. Additionally, the new OS provides improved log-and-transfer support, full recording resolution, and HDR tonemapping.

AtomOS 11 adds recording features. The new AtomOS 11 also adds new recording features, allowing users to record up to 8K 30p in ProRes RAW and making it easier to manage media. Users can now preview and adjust their videos with an innovative color adjustment feature and easily navigate through complex menus with the on-screen cursor.
